International Students

Roland Park Country School has a long history of welcoming international students who have chosen to come to the United States, seeking a rigorous curriculum and superior education. In a nurturing environment, we support each student as she develops as a scholar, artist, athlete, life-long learner and global citizen.

Central to our program is teaching our students to value the learning process by taking risks and thinking critically and creatively.  Our curriculum is based on rigorous academics and enhanced by a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, providing our students many opportunities for growth.

RPCS welcomes international students, recognizing that their membership in our community enhances the school’s commitment to life-long learning and global citizenship.  We encourage our international students to become involved in the RPCS community and benefit from all that we have to offer.  We also anticipate that our international students will embrace their role in our community as ambassadors of their own culture.

All international students follow the standard curriculum, with adjustments made as appropriate to the individual. Formal ESL tutorial support is available to help individual students. Proficiency in English is required.  Some international students stay with family members or host families already living in the greater Baltimore area. RPCS also works with international students applying for Upper School who are interested in a boarding option. Please complete the International Student Application and contact the Admissions Office. You may also mail the completed application along with completed questionnaire to Roland Park Country School.
