Director of Information and Innovation-The Director of Information and Innovation, a senior-level school administrator, provides vision and leadership in all areas of technology with an emphasis on implementing the school’s strategic vision. The Director of Information and Innovation has a deep understanding of the infrastructure needed to support and implement institutional technology and oversees all facets of educational technology planning, implementation, and integration at the school. The Director of Information and Innovation is also responsible for actively researching new and emerging educational technologies to ensure that RPCS remains a leader among independent schools in effective and innovative uses of digital tools and practices.
The Director of Information and Innovation oversees the technology integrationists and the technology staff. The Director of Information and Innovation reports to the Head of School and works closely with the Assistant Heads of School, the Academic Division Heads and Director of Libraries. Child Care Center Substitutes - Roland Park Country School is seeking mature, creative, and caring substitutes for its Little Bear Child Care Center. Little Bear is open Monday-Friday 7:30am-6:00pm. Qualified candidates must be a high school graduate. Experience with infant and toddler children is necessary. This is a part time/hourly position. Director of Libraries and Academic Information Services The Roland Park Country School, an all-girls independent school located in Baltimore, Maryland, announces a search for a Director of Libraries and Academic Information Services to oversee the library program and the integration of academic technology. The Director of Library and Academic Information Services is a 12-month senior level administrative position and will supervise librarians, library staff members and technology integrationists. Qualified candidates hold a master’s degree in Library Science, or an equivalent degree, and have three to five years’ experience working in schools. Chinese, High School (full time) – Upper School Chinese teacher for levels I through AP. The ideal candidate is an experienced teacher who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, adept at cooperative learning techniques and teaching to multiple learning styles, and is able to actively engage students in the learning process. Chinese instruction at RPCS emphasizes communicative language, and the ability to write (simplified characters) and type in Chinese is also essential. Candidates should enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues within the school and beyond with other professionals in the discipline. Director of Early Childhood Education - The Director of Early Childhood Education reports directly to the Lower School Head and is a member of the Leadership Team of the Roland Park Country School (RPCS) Lower School. The Director oversees program excellence, fidelity to the RPCS mission, and teaching and learning in the Little Bear Infant/Toddler Childcare Center and the Lower School Preschool through Pre-First Grades. The Director mentors and manages new and veteran teachers, serves as a teacher in classes as needed, coordinates Preschool and Kindergarten Admissions assessments and serves on the Lower School Admissions Committee for new Kindergarten through 5th grade students. In addition, the Director of Early Childhood Education, a 12 month administrative position, serves as Department Head for Early Childhood at RPCS and oversees evaluation and professional development of Early Childhood teachers and staff. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) and should have a demonstrated and positive track record as an early childhood professional, including at least 7-10 years of classroom teaching experience at the early childhood level, and some experience managing staff. Lower School & Preschool Summer Camp Teachers- Roland Park Country School is seeking mature, creative, and caring teachers for its summer camps. Camp is open from 8-4:30 Monday-Friday. Qualified candidates must be a high school graduate. Experience with Preschool and Lower School age children necessary. This is a part time/hourly position.
