College Counseling

The RPCS college counseling program is designed to help students at every stage of the college search, application and decision process.  Our counselors guide students as they consider a wide variety of colleges and evaluate what college or university will be the best fit for them – academically, socially, financially and personally.

The college counseling office also recognizes the important role that parents play in the college search and several aspects of our program are offered specifically for parents who are also guiding their daughters in this process. The office serves as a centralized location for information and counseling on admission and financial aid investigation and procedures.

The RPCS college counseling office also is the primary point of contact for college admission officers. Each fall many colleges and university representatives visit RPCS. During these visits the colleges promote themselves to our students and counselors. RPCS students meet the representatives to ask questions, learn information and introduce themselves as future or current applicants. Additionally, the counseling staff meets individually with each representative to highlight and promote the rigorous and unique qualities of the RPCS education. Our counselors also visit college campuses each year to remain current on offerings and admission standards as well as to promote RPCS. We attend numerous professional conferences and association meetings throughout the year.
