College Counseling Resources
The College Counseling office at RPCS has many resources available to students as they research their college options. In addition to on-line and print resources, over 100 college admission representatives visit RPCS to meet with students and promote their colleges and universities.
The College Counseling office, in partnership with other RPCS student services departments, teaches a two-year course for all juniors and seniors. This class addresses specific topics related to the college search, application and choice such as writing essays and resumes, interviewing, visiting campuses and taking standardized tests. During the senior year, the focus of the class shifts into topics related to a smooth transition into college life such as time management, health and wellness and conflict resolution. Visiting speakers, current college students and college administrators are often incorporated as guest speakers.
