and Killebrew Libraries
"Responsibility to yourself means refusing to let others do your thinking, talking, and naming for you; it means learning to respect and use your own brains and instincts; hence, grappling with hard work."(Claiming an Education, 1977)" ~ Noted author and poet Adrienne Rich, 1947
The Roland Park Country School Libraries support the philosophy and the curriculum of the Roland Park Country School. To this end, the libraries serve all of the students and faculty by providing an organized collection of materials, technologies and equipment as well as instruction in their use. The libraries are dedicated to the continued development of a collection which is culturally diverse in its approach and which augments the school’s rigorous academic program. The goal of the Roland Park Country School libraries is to provide students with the necessary skills and resources they will need to become life-long learners who are productive members of society.
