VOLUNTEERS

REGISTRATION and PACKET PICK-UP (on campus)
The run starts at 8:30am (walk at 8:35am) and race day registration will begin promptly at 7:00am. Volunteers will help participants register, pick up their packets and get to the starting line.
 
WATER-STOP (on course)
There will be a water-stop on the course. Volunteers will help prepare cups of water ahead of time for the runners, and help distribute the water as the runners/walkers pass by the stop. Charm City Run will escort volunteers out to the stop on the course and pick up after runners have returned.
 
COURSE MARSHALS (on course)
Volunteers will be assigned to a designated area along the course in order to monitor and coordinate runners/walkers. Great opportunity to cheer for friends, family members and students who are participating. Charm City Run will escort volunteers out on the course and pick up after runners have returned.
 
SPLIT-TIMERS (on course)
A split time is the time it takes to run a fraction of a race. Volunteers will share split times as the runners/walkers pass by on the course.
 
FINISH LINE (on campus)
Volunteers will be assigned to the finish line area to help direct runners/walkers to the appropriate area, and to maintain the water supply for finishers.
 
RAFFLE TABLES (on campus)
Volunteers will help sell raffle tickets before and after the race.

POST-RACE PARTY (on campus)
Volunteers will help set-up the party and distribute snacks to participants during the post-race party.
